Full-Time User Experience Engineer

As a User Experience (UX) Engineer/Designer at Bask, you will work directly with the CEO, Director of Design, and our remote team to build and design software infrastructure for telehealth.

Our serverless platform is built using Vercel, Next.js, Prisma, and PlanetScale for a powerful multi-tenant application.

We are seeking a talented and innovative User Experience (UX) Designer to lead the rework of our user interface.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand target audience needs, pain points, and preferences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders) to align design strategies.
• Design and create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to illustrate new interface concepts.
• Evaluate and analyze the existing UI, propose improvements, and enhance usability.
• Streamline complex workflows, interactions, and information architecture.
• Ensure design aligns with company brand identity, values, and visual guidelines.
• Conduct usability testing sessions and gather feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with UX design trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.).
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with software development processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present design decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
