Full-Time User Experience (UX) Architect

CapTech’s Customer Experience (CX) team seeks a UX Architect with a track record of designing sophisticated, intuitive, and impactful digital brand experiences.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the creation of personas, customer journeys, conceptual prototypes, and responsive interfaces that follow interaction design and usability best practices.
• Leading advanced design activities such as design workshops, rapid prototyping, and iterative user testing.
• Producing clean, informative, and concise presentations to clients and internal teams.
• Advocating the benefits of accessible design and usability.
• Giving insightful and constructive feedback on designs.
• Performing competitive assessments and providing innovative alternatives.
• Discussing scope and level of effort (LOE).
• Volunteering for CX leadership opportunities.
• Attending and leading CX meetings and trainings.
• Engaging in professional development and industry involvement.
• Mentoring other practitioners.
• Providing design oversight and art direction.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in a consulting or agency context.
• 4-year+ degree in design, fine arts, or similar.
• Strong conceptual and visual communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of interaction design and usability principles.
• Proven understanding of user research, usability testing, product strategy, heuristic analysis, information architecture, user interface and interaction design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Strong analytic capabilities.
• Ability to span multiple projects.
• Confident self-starter, able to take feedback and collaborate.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Agile product development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with WCAG and other accessibility guidelines.

Compensation:

Base pay range: $100,000 - $130,000
