Full-Time User Experience (UX) Researcher

We are looking for an experienced, mid-level User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our team creating innovative products.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to plan, design, and conduct both formative and evaluative research. Most of your work will involve engaging directly with educators and young people.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation and ongoing development of user personas.
• Plan and conduct qualitative, moderated interviews with a range of users.
• Carry out unmoderated research, desk research, and analysis of quantitative data.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Designers to advocate for a user-centred approach.
• Communicate research findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Share knowledge and promote best practice in user experience research.

Experience and personal attributes:

• Demonstrable experience of working as a professional digital User Experience Researcher
• Understanding of best practice in qualitative and quantitative research.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of product design processes.
• Experience of, or strong interest in, carrying out research with young people as participants.
• Familiarity with using analytics tools to complement user research.
• Interest in education and in creating engaging experiences for young people.
