We’re looking for a skilled UX Copywriter to join our growing team and lead end-to-end content development for digital health experiences. You’ll write copy that supports patient journeys, builds trust, and makes healthcare more accessible—while bringing a strategic mindset to content development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop cohesive content strategies and write UX copy for consumer journeys that span web, mobile app, email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages.
- Help shape persona development, define user goals and emotions across the journey, and translate these into messaging frameworks and content decisions.
- Participate in user research and apply findings to improve copy effectiveness.
- Contribute to touchpoint mapping and define messaging hierarchies for high-priority moments across the product lifecycle.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure content and UI work seamlessly together, with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and user trust.
- Ensure all content meets the needs of patients and caregivers while balancing clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and brand voice.
- Support A/B testing plans and use findings to optimize content performance across channels and lifecycle stages.
- Help define and document content frameworks, tone/voice guidelines, and playbooks for handoff to client stakeholders.
- Regularly present work to internal and client teams, gathering feedback, aligning on strategy, and adjusting deliverables as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have 5+ years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or product content, ideally within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- You bring a strong portfolio that showcases clear, accessible copy across web and mobile experiences.
- You’re comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams—including product, design, research, and marketing—to shape end-to-end user journeys.
- You have experience in user research, persona development, and journey mapping, and you know how to use insights and frameworks to shape copy decisions.
- You’re highly self-directed—able to prioritize work, manage ambiguity, and keep things moving even when requirements evolve.
- You're a confident communicator who can present strategic recommendations, defend content choices, and build alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- You’re skilled in tools like Figma, Google Docs, and content management systems, and you’re quick to pick up new ones.
It’s even better if…
- You have experience at a healthcare startup .
- You’re familiar with healthcare terminology and regulatory frameworks (like HIPAA or FDA), and you know how to write for real people within those constraints.
- You are comfortable building and presenting decks to communicate ideas clearly.
