Full-Time UX Designer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Coordinate, define, design, and maintain Design System components.
• Work closely with SCRUM teams and stakeholders to ideate solutions.
• Perform usability testing and accessibility audits.
• Maintain documentation and the Design System website/Figma toolkit library.
• Support cross-functional agile development in a SAFe framework.
• Mentor SCRUM teams on UX-related topics.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in UX design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
• Expertise in user-centered design (UCD) processes.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, Section 508 compliance, and WCAG guidelines.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and Bootstrap.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe) and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to create and maintain design documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with federal government contracts.
• Certification in UX/UI design, Agile, or accessibility.
• Background in content-heavy enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in mentoring teams on UX best practices.

Remote/work-from-home position.

Travel Requirement: Less than 10%.
