The UX Designer is responsible for collaborating with UX Designers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive interfaces through wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
The UX Designer will create amazing user experiences by creating the visual elements and layouts of digital products that are user-friendly and aesthetically intuitive, whether for systems navigation, graphics, and interactions.
The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and creative design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to segment user groups and work with multi-disciplinary teams to gather insights around user needs and business objectives using a variety of research techniques/methods and tools
- Creates a design strategy for a product suite for the organization
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Design and prototype responsive, high-fidelity interfaces for an Angular-based front-end debt services platform.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine design decisions and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, wireflows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Optimize designs for accessibility, scalability, and performance in compliance with financial industry standards.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and resolve any design-related issues during development.
- Exhibits strong written and verbal communication and collaboration abilities, with a customer-focused mindset, to present design insights and facilitate cross-functional agreement among product team and target users on a design solution.
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing work on customer-facing applications.
- Strong knowledge of Angular and its impact on front-end design and development.
- Experience in financial services, including familiarity with compliance and customer-centric requirements in the industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and usability best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using agile development processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, to execute design efforts effectively.
- Experience designing for complex workflows in debt services or related financial applications.
- Familiarity with design systems and their application in Angular environments.
