Full-Time UX Researcher

OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized UX Researcher to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in uncovering user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform design and product development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct user research studies (interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, secondary research).
• Recruit participants, design and maintain screening criteria.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data for actionable insights.
• Create research artifacts (personas, journey maps, empathy maps).
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, business analysts, and developers.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Champion user research to foster evidence-driven development.
• Guide team members on research and analysis techniques.
• Advise teams on user behavior metrics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with mixed-method research.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in in-person and remote research.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Cross-functional teamwork ability.
• Presentation tool proficiency for data visualization.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, or Anthropology
• Experience managing research operations.
• Lo-fidelity wireframing experience.
• Federal Agencies experience.
