Full-Time UX/UI Design Manager

We're looking for a UX/UI Design Manager to lead our UX design team.

This hands-on role is perfect for a leader passionate about crafting seamless, user-first experiences.

You'll guide the team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and work closely with Product and Engineering to shape the vision, strategy, and execution of our digital products, delivering high-quality designs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a talented UX team to transform customer experience.
• Take a hands-on approach as a UX/UI designer and strategist.
• Uphold high-quality design standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed design processes into product development.
• Collaborate with Head of Product Design and Product Managers.
• Work in partnership with Engineering teams.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles.
• Integrate UX and CX frameworks across digital and offline touchpoints.
• Stay ahead of industry trends.
• Embody core values: authenticity, curiosity, creativity, empathy, and an outcome-driven mindset.

Team management

• Manage team workload effectively.
• Coach, mentor, and support UX/UI designers.
• Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and engagement.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
• +10 years of experience in the Design field, focused on UX/UI.
• +3 years leading UX/UI designers.
• Proven experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Ability to craft compelling product narratives.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs.
• Strong self-starter mentality.
• Strong understanding of user-centric design principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma.
• Expertise in wireframing, mockups, and prototyping using Figma.
• Collaborative and iterative approach.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English and Portuguese.
• Customer-centric digital portfolio.

Additional Required Experience & Knowledge

• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience using user behavior analysis tools.
• Experience with A/B tests.
• Experience working in agile environments, familiarity with Jira.

Bonus qualifications

• Master's degree in Design or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a complex, cross-functional organization.
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript.
