We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director, Clinical Education to drive educational initiatives across global key accounts.
Job Overview: Oversees clinical education strategy and execution at Guardant Health, building and managing key account partnerships (healthcare providers, academic centers, etc.). Ensures stakeholders understand clinical implications of Guardant Technology implementation in oncology care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert on clinical implications of Guardant Technology (liquid biopsy, genomic testing, targeted therapies) in precision oncology.
- Lead and develop global clinical education strategies for key accounts, ensuring clinical team and stakeholder education on Guardant Technology's scientific and clinical value.
- Establish and maintain best practices for clinical education, aligning with company goals and ensuring effective pathway development and clinical implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Sales) for clinical education integration in go-to-market strategies.
- Build and manage long-term partnerships with key accounts (leading oncology organizations, academic medical centers, hospitals, health systems).
- Develop tailored educational programs for successful implementation and integration of Guardant Technology into clinical workflows.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams at key accounts to develop clinical pathways, including biomarker-guided treatment plans and personalized care strategies.
- Ensure educational programs address real-world oncology challenges and advance precision medicine at scale.
- Collaborate with global teams to align on clinical education strategies, sharing key account insights for product development and strategic planning.
- Represent company as thought leader at medical and scientific conferences, industry events, and forums.
- Engage with academic institutions, KOLs, and thought leaders in oncology.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of clinical education content (training modules, workshops, webinars, in-person sessions) for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure educational materials are scientifically accurate, up-to-date, and tailored to diverse clinical audiences.
- Provide ongoing support and training for internal teams (sales, marketing, medical affairs).
- Drive a culture of clinical excellence, ensuring highest standards of education and practice across educational programs.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using data and feedback to continuously improve offerings.
- Stay abreast of clinical research, regulatory updates, and clinical trials in precision oncology.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with board certification in Medical Oncology
- 10+ years' clinical experience as a practicing Medical Oncologist
- Leadership experience in clinical education or medical affairs, with a proven track record
- Expertise in precision oncology (genomic testing, liquid biopsy, targeted therapies)
- Experience working with Key Accounts, developing and implementing clinical pathways
- Strong understanding of global healthcare markets, clinical practices, and regulatory landscapes
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary Range: $324,000 - $486,000 (USD)
