What Does an Account Director, Market Access Do?
Provides leadership in developing and leading strategic and tactical marketing plans for clients focused on engaging both traditional market access stakeholders (health plans, pharmacy benefit management companies, integrated delivery networks) as well as HCP/patient initiatives addressing access and reimbursement considerations.
Counsels clients on effective payer marketing strategy based on research, data, best practices, and knowledge of key market access dynamics and considerations.
Ultimately accountable to the senior level client, provides advice and maintains relationships addressing concerns or needs and develops additional opportunities.
Provides clients with research, analytical metrics and strategic insight to develop and present effective market access solutions.
Oversees and leads the development of implementation of project plans.
Oversees the delivery and financial impact on budget, target goals and objectives with the client.
Researches, develops, and collaborates with other Account Directors, EVERSANA INTOUCH departments and agency partners to continuously develop the integrated solutions offering from EVERSANA INTOUCH.
What Are We Looking For?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
Approx. 8-12 years of related experience: market access client service, agency and pharmaceutical experience required
Expertise in market access marketing including a strong understanding of all phases of the commercialization lifecycle from pre-launch through loss of exclusivity
Ability to conceptualize innovative solutions which align to core Brand and Market Access strategic imperatives
Strategic skill and strong business acumen
Digital, media and technology marketing experience a plus
Proven leadership and mentoring skills (guiding a large team and multiple clients)
Demonstrated track record of business development results from strong client relationships
Proven negotiation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions internally within EVERSANA INTOUCH and externally with clients and agency partners
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Strong written presentation and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Some travel may be required
