Account Executive - Screening
This is an opportunity to join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health. Work hand in hand with sales leadership to help set go-to-market sales strategy and launch a revolutionary new technology for cancer screening.
The field-based Account Executive - Screening is responsible for promoting colorectal cancer (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers. This position will focus on delivering best-in-class new products for early cancer detection.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, and execute the national sales strategy.
- Drive strategic business expansion with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
- Identify and partner with laboratories for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, and train specimen collection.
- Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage implementation of promotional activities.
- Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
- Collaborate and coordinate with sales team to ensure company goals.
- Represent the Guardant Health company culture.
- Must be able to travel daily within assigned territory and for regional/national meetings.
- Uphold company mission and values.
- Support and comply with company Quality Management System.
Required Skills/Experience:
- +10 years direct experience in healthcare sales.
- Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to sell to healthcare providers and office staff.
- Superior problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling.
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
- Confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce, Veeva preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with diagnostic product sales.
- Product launch planning and launch execution.
- Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
Personal Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to meet doctor office/clinic entry requirements.
- Ability to travel daily throughout territory.
Salary: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) - Full-time.
