Opportunity for Impact
We seek an Accounting Manager to lead our in-house accounting function. This role is hands-on as you establish best practices for financial reporting.

What You’ll Do
Month-End Financial Close: Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, identify issues, and improve speed and accuracy.
Financial Operations: Own day-to-day financial operations. Streamline customer invoicing, vendor payables, credit charges, and employee expenses.
Accounting Activities: Lead daily accounting activities including payroll entries, general ledger and bank transactions by ensuring proper recording of transactions in accordance with US GAAP.
Systems Improvements: Lead accounting automation projects, focusing on scalable finance and reporting system design, implementation, and maintenance.
Financial Reporting: Collaborate on monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis, gross margin and contribution margin analysis.
Treasury Operations: Support cash flow management, forecasting, monitoring liquidity, and optimizing working capital.
Tax Reporting and Compliance: Oversee federal, state, and local tax filings ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.

Who You Are
Accounting Expertise: 4-6+ years of professional experience with public accounting and startup experience is ideal. Experience in healthcare or professional services is a plus.
Willing to Roll-Up Sleeves and Live At All Levels: Comfortable working across all levels of the accounting function.
