Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, operate, and optimize finance/accounting functions, processes (including procure-to-pay, record-to-report, customer-facing invoicing/collection, and payroll), policies, and systems.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead an efficient accounting close and prepare accurate/timely financial statements.
• Develop and manage models for revenue recognition (ASC 606), prepaid expenses, and accruals.
• Manage timely and accurate payroll reporting.
• Work with an external accounting firm to bring processes in-house.
• Oversee stock option program and equity administration.
• Manage AP/AR, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Coordinate with external auditors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 3-5 years in financial management, accounting, or auditing roles.
• Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with GL, expense reporting, procurement, and stock administration software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Process and detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial/accounting management at SaaS healthcare companies.
• Familiarity with core financial/accounting systems (Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Carta, Ramp).
• Experience in financial transformation and using AI tools.
