About this RoleBelle seeks a full-time Accounting Specialist with healthcare RCM experience to build our accounting and finance function. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role offers strong growth potential to senior leadership with great performance. This role is remote.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial data for leaders.
- Manage general ledger, including analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Daily bank reconciliation.
- Analyze income statement.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Establish, learn, and administer Belle's RCM platform with an outside consultant, ensuring timely payments and revenue collection.
- Manage outside accountants for tax return preparation and filing.
- Collaborate with external CPA (as needed) and other departments for financial data and decision support.
- Monitor and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain state account registrations and filings.
- Administer company payroll and expenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, & Personality
- 3-5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience.
- Bonus: Advanced MD and/or Waystar experience.
- Bonus: QuickBooks Online experience.
- Bonus: Experience with tech-forward platforms like Rippling and Ramp.
- Tech-forward, adaptable, and proficient in Excel, Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, etc.), and databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Integrity, professionalism, respect, a willingness to learn and improve.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented, high accuracy, multitasking ability.
- Strong accounting principles and practices knowledge.
