Full-Time Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage payroll, compliance, and financial operations across our entities in Canada, the US, and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management: Process payroll for our entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. Manage teammate registrations and ensure timely filing of payroll taxes.
2. Accounting for Mexican Entity: Handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance for our Mexican entity, ensuring alignment with Mexican regulations. Utilize local systems to manage financial operations.
3. Teammate Expenses Audit & Monitoring: Review and monitor employee expenses to ensure compliance.
4. Taxes & Filings: Oversee tax filings and compliance across all jurisdictions, liaising with external advisors as needed. Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and ensure timely implementation of adjustments.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or current enrollment with relevant experience).
• Familiarity with payroll and tax systems in Mexico.
• Solid understanding of accounting practices, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
• Experience or familiarity with local bookkeeping systems and regulations in Mexico.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines across multiple jurisdictions.
