Full-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounts Receivable Specialist will process accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and cash receipts.

Manage collections: Manage collection efforts, including following up with clients and setting up payment plans.

Maintain records: Maintain accounts receivable records, including aging.

Communicate: Contact clients to request payment or set up payment plans.

Support audits: Support internal and external audits.

Evaluate policies: Evaluate current policies and recommend process improvements.

Manage projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Prepare and analyze reports: Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management.

Month-end procedures: Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.

Internal controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls for the AR process.

Process improvements: Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated time management and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Understanding of credit and collection processes
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualification:

• Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) certification
