Full-Time Allied Health Professional

Allied Health Professionals have a diverse and important role, offering opportunity to assist job seekers with complex employment barriers. This involves conducting assessments, therapeutic interventions, facilitating groups, and providing recommendations to vocational and non-vocational services.

Permanent Opportunity. Full-time and part-time hours considered.

Key duties include:

1. Thorough assessments of candidates with disabilities and employment barriers.
2. Counselling intervention services (face-to-face and telehealth) using various psychological methodologies.
3. Referral to external support services for addressing barriers.
4. Evaluations of assessments and monitoring of case progression.
5. Liaison with medical professionals and community agencies.
6. Training and guidance to staff on psychological services and procedures.

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology with APHRA registration eligibility, or relevant Counselling qualification with ACA/PACFA membership.
• Experience in employment services (preferred, not essential).
• Knowledge of psychology assessment/intervention strategies.
• Strong communication, rapport-building, and engagement skills.
• Ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports.
• Proven ability to generate positive client outcomes.
• Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Work with Children's Check.
