Job Details

The Water Technologies and Solutions Analytical Instruments product line business has an opportunity for a Sales Account Manager for the Northwest US.
  • Develop strong partnerships with life sciences customers.
  • Expand install base and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Present industry-leading solutions.
  • Expand networks at regional conferences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsible for selling analytical instruments including total organic carbon (TOC), conductivity, endotoxin, and rapid bioburden.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions.
  • Report on the status of accounts.
  • Set and track sales account targets.
  • Monitor sales metrics.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences.
  • Understand competitors’ products.
  • Travel within territory to customer sites.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with analytical instruments.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-focused skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or Life Sciences.
  • At least 5 years of capital equipment sales experience.
  • Experience working or selling capital equipment in a GMP life sciences environment (preferred).
  • Testing experience in a life sciences laboratory (preferred).
