Full-Time Associate Director Health & Safety

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Associate Director to join our Industrial Hygiene and Built Environment group, within the broader EH&S team. This is a client-facing role focused on managing complex Environmental, Health & Safety related claims and property damage assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage Health & Safety risk and property damage projects.
2. Deliver expert technical H&S input.
3. Support the UK business in developing and maintaining compliance with ISO 45001.
4. Interpret and evaluate technical reports to assess adequacy of findings.
5. Ensure ongoing compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation.
6. Prepare and deliver clear expert reports.
7. Support business development.
8. Maintain and grow client relationships.

Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in Health & Safety consultancy.
• Strong technical background in fire, water, mold, asbestos, and contamination-related claims.
• In-depth knowledge of the UK Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in business development.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, BOHS).

Education:

• Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Hygiene).
