The Associate Director, US Patient Marketing, supports commercial teams in patient brand marketing strategy and tactics execution. This role is critical, impacting multiple departments and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of the commercial marketing plan, focusing on consumer activation and patient adherence.
- Effectively manage projects to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and support business objectives.
- Manage external vendors to ensure consistent strategies, messages, and timely tactics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues (HCP marketing, sales, medical affairs, etc.).
- Develop and execute a patient ambassador program, including ad board planning.
- Contribute to the annual brand plan strategy and tactics.
- Represent marketing during medical, legal, and regulatory reviews.
- Oversee patient and vendor contracting and monthly accruals.
- Support field selling efforts by ensuring patient material availability.
- Measure and assess marketing tactics' impact and performance, adjusting plans accordingly.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required
- 2-5+ years experience in patient/consumer marketing within pharmaceutical/biotech, healthcare systems, or advertising agencies.
- Product launch experience preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory processes.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Veeva Vault experience preferred.
Compensation: $148,000 - $200,000 annually + benefits (401k match, short-term/long-term incentives).
