THE POSITION: Support project teams in achieving optimal reimbursement for client products in Canada. Core responsibilities include developing project deliverables using clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence to demonstrate treatment value to Canadian payers.
Assist project leads in executing strategic market access plans for national, provincial, and private payers, ensuring timely reimbursement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support EVERSANA team with submissions to CDA-AMC, INESSS, PMPRB, provincial agencies/programs, and private payers.
- Conduct background research, summarize findings, and critically appraise relevant literature to support submission dossier components.
- Assist in writing reports, developing dossier components (clinical landscape reviews, clinical summaries, budget impact models, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, payer-specific documents, pricing analysis).
- Stay current on CDA-AMC and INESSS submission guidelines; compile documents, develop administrative templates.
- Specialize in Private Payer and Provincial Copy submission requirements and support project leads.
- Prepare draft slide decks for project leads.
- Develop tools for negotiation with pCPA and Product Listing Agreements (PLAs).
- Develop team leadership, project management, and client-facing skills through internal and external presentations, client-payer liaison, and weekly client check-in calls.
- Lead defined scope projects (private payer submissions, provincial copies, biosimilar submissions, landscape reviews).
- Mentor Associates in submission setup and compilation, and document upload/email procedures.
- Monitor and analyze Canadian access and reimbursement landscape to provide client updates.
- Contribute to EVERSANA research on pharmaceutical policy in Canada.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:
- Occasional travel for client and team meetings
- 37.5 hours per week, business hours (9am-5pm EST, Monday-Friday)
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- University degree (Masters preferred) in health services research, public health, epidemiology, economics, or pharmacy.
- Demonstrated project team experience
- Strong multitasking, organization, prioritization, and project management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs/environment
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and conflict management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Business-level English proficiency; French is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Canadian HTA, private payer, and provincial submissions.
- Understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, HTA, and Canadian payers.
- Relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry market access experience is an asset.
