Full-Time Associate Product Owner

Associate Product Owner is responsible for owning specific software projects from requirements definition to launch and contributing as a team member on larger projects.

Works with key business stakeholders to define and convey business needs to onshore and offshore software development and engineering teams.

Primary Job Duties:

• Support agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, release planning, and sprint reviews
• Maintain prioritized and groomed product backlog
• Gather, clarify, and document requirements
• Support and communicate with Product Operations Team, especially with respect to escalated production support concerns and communication around product releases
• Ensure enhancements are delivered with high quality in a timely manner
• Understand existing projects, including ensuring products are meeting the agreed upon Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Participate in maintaining product roadmaps, quarterly goals, project plans, and other planning documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, strong attention to detail, able to follow and enforce processes
• Eagerness to learn new skills and frameworks, as necessary
• Strong technical skills and/or aptitude - candidate does not need to be a developer, but needs to be able to problem solve
• Willing and able to solve problems without depending on others
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulation
• Writing and reading SQL is preferred

Bonus:

• Familiarity with "Agile" methodologies, tools and practices
• Experience in requirements analysis, working directly with stakeholders and developers, QA, Technical writing, or similar

Salary: $76,000.00 - $90,000.00 (base pay, exclusive of benefits/bonuses)
