Full-Time Behavioral Health Subject Matter Expert

ISN is seeking Behavioral Health Subject Matter Experts to support DHS ICE ERO.

Responsibilities:

• Review healthcare facilities for compliance with NCCHC, ACA, and ICE standards.
• Conduct assessments of ICE detention facilities and create detailed reports on behavioral health issues.
• Provide recommendations for addressing non-compliance issues.
• Offer real-time technical assistance and guidance to facility personnel to improve behavioral health care.
• Evaluate compliance with standards related to sexual assault prevention.
• Consult on various behavioral health topics (adult psychiatry, female health, underserved populations).
• Provide ratings/narrative reports.
• Prepare reports for quality review programs and medical care.
• Analyze data reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Active DHS clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• US Citizenship required
• Willingness to travel nationwide for onsite investigations.
• Ability to work with deployed teams.
• Minimum 10 years experience in behavioral health care at a secure custodial setting.
• Minimum 5 years experience in administering a health care unit for a detained population.
• Minimum 2 years experience inspecting detention facilities for behavioral health compliance.
• Minimum 2 years experience conducting interviews related to behavioral health records.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in collecting/monitoring data trends to reduce risks.
• Experience serving as a subject matter expert in mental health care programs.
• Experience producing written reports evaluating standards, systems, and actions in detention facilities.

Education:

• Current licensed Behavioral Health Professional.
