Purpose: The Benefits Reporting Specialist ensures accurate insurance benefits reporting, supports customers in navigating financial and insurance-related questions, and contributes to process improvements through trend identification. This role involves extensive cross-team collaboration and direct interaction with Lingraphica’s customers, including those with communication challenges, carepartners, and SLPs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communicate insurance benefits for patients, ensuring accuracy and clarity in trial requirements and financial considerations.
- Assist patients and carepartners in understanding their insurance coverage, eligibility, and available financial options, guiding them through the process with expert-level knowledge.
- Facilitate and review Good Faith Financial Assessments, ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication of results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure clear and proactive communication by following up with patients, caregivers, and SLPs to confirm understanding and address outstanding questions.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs by offering timely and meaningful solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, share insights, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Collect, analyze, and report key metrics within the Funding Team to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and compliance, ensuring all patient interactions, benefits data, and required documentation meet company and HIPAA standards.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills, Competencies, and Experience:
- General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Ability to deliver a superior customer experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone call, and text.
- Maintains a calm and professional demeanor when assisting customers.
- Ability to identify and address the needs of customers; offer meaningful and timely information in response.
- Proactively report trends and customer feedback, and recommend/implement creative solutions.
- Strong communication skills with both external customers and internal departments.
- Work load flexibility, open to change, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to adjust to the needs of people with disabilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Education and Experience:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), required
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Office 365, Zoom, preferred
- 1 year experience in healthcare related environment such as rehabilitation, insurance, or medical clinic, preferred
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Employee works from home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access.

Travel
- Travel is required to Princeton, NJ or another location within the US for meetings approximately 2-4x / year.
