Business Development Representative will support Ubiquity's growth strategies, proactively developing 401(k) partnerships with insurance brokers and agencies, focusing on SMBs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect & engage with brokers/agencies for 401(k) partnerships.
- Educate partners on SMB-focused 401(k) solutions, highlighting their advantages.
- Develop & execute strategies to meet/exceed sales targets.
- Build lasting relationships for long-term success.
- Design & implement sales strategies for distribution partners.
- Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to contract execution.
- Implement marketing plans to support business objectives.
- Proactively resolve issues and offer solutions.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets.
Competencies & Skills:
- Skills: Insurance background, proven sales success (ideally financial/insurance).
- Client Service: Prioritizing client needs & resolving concerns.
- Integrity: Responsibility for quality & timeliness.
- Communication: Clear & concise communication, comfort with public speaking, product demos.
- Organizing: Effective CRM use, time management, efficient follow-up.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree & 5+ years sales experience (preferably in Professional Association industry).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint & other relevant software.
- Salesforce experience required.
- Strong phone, listening, writing & presentation skills.
- Collaborative & results-oriented.
- Strong lead follow-up & sales development skills.
- Proficient in handling objections.
Job Details:
- Salaried, full-time, remote position.
- Salary range: $65,000 - $125,000 (base + commission).
