Purpose: The Client Referral Specialist enhances client evaluations following Lingraphica’s At-Home Trial.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Seek out and connect with qualified SLPs for client evaluations after At-Home Trials.
- Explain the At Home Trial process to SLPs and schedule training sessions.
- Manage SLP availability for client evaluations.
- Facilitate clinical discussions between the CTC and SLPs.
- Develop long-term relationships with SLPs through ongoing training and support.
- Ensure SLPs are prepared for evaluations, understanding device functionalities, trial rules, and insurance needs.
- Prepare and send speech therapy referral packets.
- Schedule and reschedule speech therapy evaluations.
- Send training notes on AAC devices to SLPs and answer questions.
- Coordinate SLP loaner equipment, including shipment and check-ins.
- Collect and verify client forms for evaluation readiness.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document customer interactions in the CRM.
- Use HubSpot reports to monitor data trends and make recommendations.
- Report weekly metrics to support team goals.
- Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams for smooth service delivery.
- Participate in team meetings to improve processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in coordination and relationship management, preferably in healthcare.
- Understanding of speech therapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong phone demeanor and written/verbal skills.
- Familiarity with AAC devices, preferred.
- Basic understanding of insurance policies, preferred.
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Microsoft Excel/Word, Slack, preferred.
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s degree, preferred.
- 1-3 years of patient navigation/advocacy experience.
The Client Referral Specialist works remotely and must maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet.
Travel is required for company meetings and team off-sites (twice per year within the US).
