Full-Time Clinical Assessor

We're seeking compassionate individuals with mental health experience to assess applicants' disablement.

Role Overview:

• Meet applicants (in-person/virtual) and review medical evidence to determine condition permanence and disablement percentage.
• Actively seek additional medical evidence from healthcare providers.
• Gather information from applicants/representatives and analyze clinical data.
• Create comprehensive reports detailing history, justification, and conclusions to support the Victims' Payments Board decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Fully registered medical practitioner (e.g., psychologist, nurse, OT, physiotherapist, social worker) with 2+ years post-registration experience (4+ years for social workers).
• Valid registration without sanctions or conditions.
• Valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Mental health/psychiatric speciality background.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong report writing and analytical skills (proficient with MS Office).
• Successful completion of government security vetting and CTC.

Working Hours:

• Minimum 30 hours per week, maximum 37.5 hours per week (flexible).
• Working hours between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday to Friday.
• 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
• Minimum 4 weeks’ notice of rota changes.
