Full-Time Clinical Counselor

Job Description:

This project is in the proposal stage, we’re awaiting to be awarded the contract.International SOS is seeking qualified clinical counselors for The Navy Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP). The program serves active duty military members, their families, and other eligible groups.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment and short-term, solution-focused counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Limit practice to counseling for Other Conditions That May be a Focus of Clinical Attention and Adjustment Disorders.
• Ensure appropriate referral for behavioral health follow-up of psychological disorders.
• Coordinate specialized assessment and intervention for at-risk children.
• Report suspected child abuse and domestic violence to appropriate authorities.
• Participate in quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain accurate records in the FFSMIS system.

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted clinical license/certification in professional counseling, clinical social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical psychology.
• Master's degree (or doctoral degree in clinical/counseling psychology) in an accredited program.
• Minimum 2 years of post-master’s supervised clinical experience.
• Experience working with military programs or families.
• Strong communication, assessment, and advocacy skills.
• Understanding and sensitivity toward diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in child abuse and domestic abuse prevention.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Meet Tier II qualified practitioner standards.

Compensation:

• Pay range: $27-$40/hour.
