We seek a highly skilled Cloud & Platform Engineer to elevate our core infrastructure. The role demands creating scalable, secure, and efficient cloud platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud platforms with high availability, performance, and security.
- Engineering and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) workflows.
- Building, scaling, securing, and monitoring infrastructure supporting development and production environments.
- Supporting cloud migrations and managing event-driven systems, including asynchronous workloads and message queues.
- Documenting processes, configurations, and infrastructure decisions for knowledge sharing.
- Improving developer experience by implementing productivity-boosting tools and frameworks.
- Addressing security vulnerabilities via rigorous testing and proactive risk mitigation.
- Maintaining and supporting self-hosted services critical to product infrastructure.
Requirements include:
- At least 3 years' experience building scalable cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with either AWS or GCP (decision pending).
- Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with Python-based API implementations.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems, including queues and asynchronous workloads.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and their management in cloud environments.
- Experience with object storage solutions (e.g., S3, GCS) for scalable data management.
- Strong documentation skills and a structured approach to work.
- Experience in creating and maintaining secure and efficient cloud environments.
- Ability to monitor and optimize infrastructure for reliability and performance.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Familiarity with modern networking and security tools (beneficial).
- Experience with cloud migrations (advantageous).
- Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc.) (good to have).
- Experience working with DICOM and/or in the Radiology field (big plus).
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment (good to have).
- Basic knowledge in data engineering (DBT, Airflow) (plus).
