Job Details
Compensation Analyst is an individual contributor role, supporting compensation practices and policies (base pay, short-term incentives, job evaluations, etc.).
Close alignment with business, and subject matter expertise, enable better business decisions supporting key talent initiatives.
- Compensation Consulting: Delivering expertise to the business, providing guidance through analysis, market data understanding, and alignment with business needs.
- Program Design & Administration: Assisting in design and administration of base pay, annual incentives, equity, and recognition programs.
- Knowledge Development: Developing the HR team and business's compensation knowledge and processes, driving consistent administration of policies and practices.
- Market Data & Benchmarking: Leveraging benchmarking tools to participate in surveys, strengthening market data and trends knowledge.
- Annual Compensation Cycles: Leading annual compensation cycles, including merit and incentive payouts.
- Base Pay Range Review: Supporting annual review of base pay ranges and compensation tools.
- Compensation Processing: Timely processing of wage increases, short-term incentives, and ad-hoc payments in Workday.
- Data Integrity: Developing a data integrity review process through proactive data audits.
- Process Improvement: Championing continuous improvement by leveraging lean tools.
- Job Architecture: Sustaining and evolving a job architecture that supports HR, compensation practices, analytics, talent initiatives, and pay programs.
- Employee Experience: Supporting initiatives improving employee experience and creating a best place to work culture.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in compensation program analysis, design, and/or administration.
- Experience with hourly compensation programs (preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel).
- HRIS experience required.
- Workday implementation, configuration, and maintenance experience (a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, influencing, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills.
- Organized, confident working independently but strong team player.
- Effective multitasking, balancing priorities, with a sense of urgency.
- Occasional travel.
