About this team and role:
The Compensation Consultant leads design and development of creative, market-competitive, efficient, and effective base pay, incentive compensation, and executive compensation programs.
The role partners internally with Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, organizational leadership, and HRIS.
This ensures Mozilla's compensation programs align with global corporate strategies.
What you'll do:
- Provide strong support in developing and implementing various compensation programs
- Partner with senior business leaders and their leadership teams to develop and implement compensation strategies
- Lead activities to meet growth goals and foster innovation
- Support annual performance review and compensation cycles (Workday requirements, data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, communications)
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on compensation-related activities (new hire offers, promotions, etc.)
- Work with HR Tech and Operations teams to update compensation systems and documentation
- Effectively communicate compensation programs and details
- Partner with Total Rewards, HRBPs, People Operations, Payroll, and Finance to identify opportunities for improvement
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of compensation experience in a global, fast-paced environment
- Tech experience preferred
- Self-starter who manages projects independently but enjoys teamwork
- Positive attitude; ability to interact with all employee levels
- Experience with Radford and other compensation surveys, and converting data to programming
- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices (market pricing, structure creation/maintenance, laws & regulations)
- Thrives in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Suite; Workday experience preferred
