Job Details
We are seeking a full-time Consultant to support Sia/LBG programs across service offerings of Strategic Consulting, Nondilutive Funding, and Product Development. This individual will develop forecasts, detailed financial and Cost of Good models, conduct market research, and synthesize data into executive-level stories and presentations for life-science and healthcare clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting services for LBG clients, including financial, business, Cost of Goods, and operational modeling using MS Excel.
- Write and develop cost models and business proposals, including support documentation for proposal submission to governmental, non-governmental, and commercial clients.
- Make strategic suggestions based on data, market research (primary and secondary).
- Perform in-depth competitive analyses across various market landscapes.
- Collaborate with LBG technical leads to establish innovative approaches to capture market and commercialize technologies.
- Identify and defend market potential of products/technologies/platforms.
- Identify and communicate industry trends.
- Collate information into unified, executive-level stories and reports.
- Engage with industry professionals and clients; develop and implement strategies for larger value engagements.
- Prepare for, attend, and follow-up on business development initiatives, including conferences and networking events.
- Actively engage in LBG's knowledge management systems.
- Adhere to LBG quality standards.
- Other duties, including technical consultation, project management (scheduling, tracking, meeting agendas, minutes).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in consulting and/or life sciences/biotech.
- Demonstrated experience with financial, operational, or business modeling in Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage workload across multiple projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a technical discipline and/or MBA.
- Life sciences/biotech company experience in Strategic Finance, Operational, or Cost of Goods modeling.
- Research, synthesis, and presentation skills (oral and written).
- Project management experience/understanding of project management principles.
- Knowledge of the biotechnology, medical device, or pharmaceutical product development process.
