Job Details
Manage and actively participate in the monthly financial close process for all corporate entities and several practices. This includes ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, preparing and reviewing adjusting journal entries, financial statement preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly financials package and covenants calculation for lenders.
Participate in the development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures in keeping with GAAP and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes. Focus on improving system efficiencies and simplification of business practices and companywide standardization.
Prepare regulatory, statutory reports, governmental surveys, and census.
Assist with year-end processes including audit and cash to accrual conversion.
Manages a team of accountants.
Participate in and lead special projects as required.
Working knowledge of ERP system, such as Oracle (NetSuite).
Excellent computer skills (MS Office/Excel).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and meet deadlines.
Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Takes pride in their work.
Experience: 5+ years related experience (Required)
Supervisory experience: 3+ years (required)
Healthcare experience (strongly preferred)
Education and other Requirements: Master's Degree in Accounting and/or CPA required
