Dental Revenue Cycle Management Trainer will create training opportunities to support a streamlined RCM process for achieving Best Practice results.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth AR audits for each practice, providing detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Design and deliver customized training to each office based on individual needs, monitoring progress for improved results.
- Support RCM onboarding for new practices, including reviewing AR reports (pre-close) and training new team members (post-close).
- Streamline RCM processes with RCM Leadership team, create RCM manuals and training materials.
- Train RCM and front office team members on RCM policies and procedures.
- Create and publish training schedules (lunch and learns, monthly team meetings, SharePoint announcements, in-office training).
- RCM KPI Analysis: Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Revenue Cycle, identifying areas of success and those needing improvement.
- RCM Wellness Checks: Schedule wellness checks based on KPI analysis, working with Office Managers, Practice Administrators, Doctors, and staff to review a checklist of RCM Best Practices and analyze results.
- Identify areas of improvement in Patient Registration/Communication, Insurance Verification/Plan Setup, Treatment Presentation/Co-pay Calculation, Claims Submission/Payment Entry, AR Management, and Patient Collections.
- Provide RCM Wellness Check Report and training targets to practice and Director of Ops.
- Schedule follow-up meetings to ensure recommendations are met and KPIs are trending correctly.
- RCM Training Visit Reports: For off-track offices, plan follow-up visits approximately one month after the Wellness Check to review changes in KPIs, address recommendations, and provide customized training.
- Hot Spot Practices: Provide weekly accountability reports to the RCM Trainer and Director of Ops for practices not improving within 3 months.
- Provide annual KPI analysis and RCM Wellness Checks for on-track offices.
- Create and implement RCM/Payor Relations onboarding processes for new acquisitions.
- Review AR reports (pre-close) to address potential AR issues pre- and post-close.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years in Revenue Cycle Management.
- 3-5 years as an RCM Trainer with experience creating and implementing RCM training materials.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of practice management software/electronic health records.
- Dental knowledge preferred.
