About the Role: We're seeking a DevOps Engineer passionate about infrastructure as code. At Aura, we create tools used by everyone, building at a massive scale. Help with all aspects of the software development lifecycle, guiding teams toward a stable future. We write code. We're tool-agnostic, but expect you to read and create code-based solutions.
Day to Day:
- Create tools for all of Aura in multiple languages and paradigms (e.g., Serverless, Containers).
- Investigate better ways for teams to deploy and manage networks and product deployments.
- Assist with deployments using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Debug cloud issues when development teams need help.
- Offer design assistance for teams experimenting with new things.
- Provide vision and strategic optimization to ensure quick and secure progress.
What you bring to the table:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience writing Infrastructure as code
- Experience with any programming language
- Passion for cloud computing, helpful and curious attitude, and an eye for details
- Willingness to engage with multiple teams to solve problems
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with Serverless or Containerized Deployments
- Logging and Monitoring strategies at scale
- Experience with Cloudwatch and Grafana
- Experience with Python or Typescript
- Experience optimizing cloud costs
