Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Tasks

Use your DevOps know-how and work closely with our customers to help them assess and solve their most relevant pain points!

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
• Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision, configure, and manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure efficiently.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure system reliability, performance, and quick issue resolution.
• Facilitate collaboration between development, operations, and other teams to align processes and ensure smooth project delivery
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards throughout the development and deployment process.

• We offer you for this position according to the collective agreement for employees in data processing and information technology a gross monthly salary of at least € 1900 (Consultant) or € 2500 (Senior Consultant) depending on your previous experience.

Qualifications:

• We are looking forward to your completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable
• Fluent in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Bash/Shell, Ruby
• An extensive experience containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift
• A hands-on experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• An extensive experience of working with version control tools, such as Git and CI/CD Pipelines
• An extensive experience of working with infrastructure as code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• Experience with major cloud providers, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with monitoring and logging: Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, Datadog  
• Experience with agile development concepts like Scrum
• Excellent German skills, good English skills, and willingness to travel if required by the project
