Join the Human Resources team as Director, Global Employee Relations.
Lead a dedicated team of ER professionals focused on enabling leaders and teams to foster a high-trust, high-performance culture.
Partner with business clients, Legal, HR Business Partners, HR Leader Support and COE teams to deliver strategic ER capability.
Anchor point for Employee Relations globally.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global employee relations strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Deliver effective global ER coverage for cases, investigations, and negotiations.
- Strengthen team capability, driving quality case reviews and closure.
- Develop and execute a knowledge management strategy for global policies.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership.
- Advise leadership on employee relations challenges and trends.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Partner with HR Leader Support on performance management tools and training.
- Manage complex cases (grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations).
- Analyze data to anticipate trends and mitigate issues.
- Manage union activities and labor relations strategies.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and Security teams on integrated solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 10+ years’ experience, including leading Employee Relations.
- Technology and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strategic thinking, project management with global scope and diverse cultural considerations.
- Knowledge of global labor laws, compliance, and employee relations best practices.
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations issues and developing solutions.
- Experience working with unions, works councils preferred.
- Systems thinking, goal-oriented, proactive, resourceful, and passionate.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
