Global Launch Excellence Director - Nephrology is a critical leadership position within the Global Nephrology Commercialization team, responsible for coordinating and driving the successful implementation of global launch initiatives for Sobi’s C3G / IC-MPGN, across all territories.
This role requires close collaboration with the Sr. Director of Global Marketing Nephrology, and the VP of Global Nephrology Commercialization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee global-to-local market preparation, stakeholder engagement, regulatory milestone tracking, medical affairs material support, affiliate training & material delivery.
- Lead Medico-Marketing campaigns, CVP creation, strategic messaging, story flow, milestone/timeline/KPI definition, and objection handling.
- Support Market Access initiatives by providing training and materials.
- Ensure that all functions are aligned with the overall strategy.
- Coordinate Global Launch Plans to meet regional/affiliate demands and maximize opportunities.
- Monitor & track launch progress with dashboards and a Global Country Launch tracker.
- Identify & address potential risks to minimize disruptions.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between commercial, medical, regulatory, market access, and community engagement teams.
- Track regulatory milestones, inform senior leadership of changes affecting the plan.
- Engage internal & external stakeholders (senior leadership, KOLs, healthcare providers).
- Oversee local market preparation, adapting global strategies to local market dynamics.
- Collaborate on CVA, strategic messaging, and story flow.
- Lead Medico-Marketing campaign rollouts, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Implement training programs & objection handling materials.
- Support Market Access strategies by providing materials, training, and guidance.
- Oversee the development and tracking of launch milestones, timelines, and KPIs.
- Operate with high ethical standards, following Sobi corporate values and SOPs.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in global pre-launch and launch activities (rare diseases and nephrology).
- Project management skills & result-driven attitude.
- Brand management experience (at least 5 years in global roles).
- Knowledge of local operations & multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Multi-stakeholder project management & leadership experience.
- Sales, market analytics, and business intelligence experience (a plus).
- University degree (medical/science-based).
- Life Cycle Management experience.
- Ability to manage external consultants/agencies.
- Customer relationship management experience.
- Additional European language skills (desired).
