As the Director, HR (EMEA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our HR operations across the region. You will drive process excellence, ensure compliance with complex labor laws (particularly in Germany and the Netherlands), and align regional HR strategies with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR operations within the region, ensuring process consistency and compliance with local labor laws.
- Oversee key HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll, talent management.
- Provide strategic direction to local HR teams, driving process improvements and developing region-specific HR policies to support business objectives.
- Manage and mentor a small team of HR professionals across multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with complex labor laws (particularly in Germany and the Netherlands).
- Drive HR process improvements, implement systems, and manage HR projects.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to align regional HR operations with broader organizational strategies.
- Serve as Managing Director for the German entity, acting as the primary signer for local documents and participating in quarterly board meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in HR operations and management, including leading HR teams.
- Proven experience managing HR operations across multiple locations (preferably in Germany and the Netherlands).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of regional labor laws, payroll, and benefits administration (particularly in Germany and the Netherlands).
- Experience driving HR process improvements, implementing HR systems, and managing large-scale HR projects.
- Ability to work effectively across global and regional HR teams.
- Prior experience working with German and Dutch companies.
- Global HR experience working with teams in NA, EMEA, APAC regions.
