What Does the Director, Market Access Strategy Do?
Supports the Market Access Specialty Affiliate and broader teams with data-driven market access strategic insight for existing clients and new business.
Works closely with Market Access leadership, account teams, and clients to support strategic initiatives for market access.
Serves as a team lead for one or more clients, developing innovative strategies and initiatives to optimize market access and reimbursement across payer segments.
Delivers excellent business results through:
- Providing healthcare expertise for strategy and execution of client projects.
- Representing Eversana Intouch Market Access to clients and leading payer strategy work.
- Leading strategic and tactical marketing plans to engage market access stakeholders (health plans, PBMs, IDNs, employers, etc.) and HCP/patient initiatives addressing access and reimbursement.
- Providing strategic support for market access solutions and emerging barriers.
- Supporting cross-functional matrix teams.
- Providing segment strategy input for pre-launch and existing brand, biosimilar, or loss of exclusivity business planning.
- Assisting new business development through research, proposal development, and presentations.
- Providing industry expertise to related projects.
- Supporting and presenting education and training for customers or internal personnel.
- Assisting in client workshops and competitive simulations (role-playing payer or other stakeholders).
- Reviewing market trends and providing actionable insights to Eversana Intouch and Account leads.
- Prioritizing deliverables across multiple clients and assisting the team with deadlines.
- Representing Eversana Intouch Market Access at industry meetings and gathering client-relevant insights.
- Assisting account teams with budget planning and service/project recommendations.
- Creating or curating internal and external training materials.
- Demonstrating commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through development, inclusive behaviors, and proactive bias management.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
What Are We Looking For?
Requires 8-12 years of agency, consultative, pharmaceutical, and/or healthcare experience.
Requires a Bachelor's degree.
Requires expertise in Market Access strategy and stakeholder engagement, including commercialization lifecycle understanding (pre-launch to loss of exclusivity).
Requires ability to conceptualize innovative solutions, manage major clients and brands, and possess strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
Requires ability to analyze data/information and synthesize into concise deliverables, solve problems, and work in a team environment.
Requires strong strategic and tactical thinking, project execution, multitasking, and meeting deadlines.
Requires highly motivated, self-driven, independent thinking, familiarity with pharmacy/medical policies, formulary data metrics, and prescription/performance data sources.
Requires ability to develop client-facing materials using PowerPoint and Excel and interpret customer needs.

Compensation: $119,000 - $175,000 (US Locations only)
