We’re seeking an experienced marketplaces expert to grow our online presence. You'll report to the VP of Ecommerce and support marketing/operations teams to profitably expand Truewerk's brand for trade professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & grow marketplace business (Amazon, Walmart, expansion opportunities).
- Drive revenue, profitability, operational excellence across all marketplaces.
- Oversee marketplace strategy, execution, & optimization.
- Partner with agency to ensure flawless execution and implementation.
- Manage marketplace business performance; drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Enhance customer experience & improve performance metrics.
- Be an expert in marketplace best practices.
- Maximize growth via data-driven decisions.
- Own marketplace business performance (revenue, profitability, operational efficiency).
- Develop & monitor KPIs for sales, advertising, contribution margin, & operational performance.
- Develop/execute marketplace strategy for Amazon, Walmart, & emerging markets.
- Define short/long-term growth plans using data & market trends.
- Identify new marketplace opportunities & build expansion roadmap.
- Partner with Finance, Performance Marketing, & leadership for monthly revenue forecasts.
- Oversee listing optimization, pricing, & inventory management.
- Manage relationships with Amazon/Walmart account managers.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Demand Planning, Operations, & Customer Experience teams.
- Optimize inventory planning & ensure best-in-class customer experience.
- Develop data-driven reporting frameworks for decision-making.
- Optimize media & retail aspects with agency partner, overseeing Amazon Advertising & Walmart Connect.
- Optimize campaign structures for efficiency & ROI.
- Collaborate with in-house/agency creative teams for seamless content creation.
Experience Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of ecommerce & marketplace experience; strong growth/scaling track record.
- Deep expertise with Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, Walmart Marketplace, or Walmart Connect (preferred).
- Strong marketplace performance management (data-driven revenue/profitability).
- Proven ability to develop/execute marketplace strategies, optimize product assortment, & plan promotions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, collaborating across various departments.
- Strong analytical skills & experience with related tools (Excel, reports).
- Excellent communication/negotiation skills for vendor/platform relationships.
- 3P logistics, fulfillment models (FBA, WFS, 3PL), & inventory forecasting experience a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary ($135,000 - $145,000), performance-based bonuses, comprehensive benefits package.
