Full-Time Director of Government Relations

• Represent World Relief's positions on governmental policies.
• Shape and craft policy positions and advocacy campaigns.
• Build and sustain relationships with leaders in Congress and the White House.
• Supervise a staff colleague focused on governmental policy issues.
• Write and speak on policy issues of expertise.
• Support World Relief staff on outreach and relationship building with elected officials and the media.
• Help train staff on advocacy priorities.

• Mature and personal Christian faith.
• Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Passionate about refugee, immigration, and foreign assistance policies.

• Master's degree in refugee/migration issues, public policy, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in governmental service, political advocacy, and/or public relations.
• Experience with biblical/theological studies and/or direct service to refugees/immigrants.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
