Sysco GB is seeking a Director of HR Operations to lead and inspire the HR Operations function, delivering a streamlined, digitally enabled, colleague-first experience across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR Operations function to deliver a streamlined, digitally enabled, colleague first experience.
- Champion service delivery through continuous improvement and automation, leveraging the Workday platform.
- Accountable for end-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely colleague pay.
- Drive shared services maturity, embedding best-practice operations and scalable service models.
- Create a stronger customer experience mindset, putting colleagues at the heart of solutions and processes.
- Optimize people systems, data, and insights for informed decision-making.
- Drive operational excellence, leading strong governance across SLAs, KPIs, and risk management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, PMO, Finance, and IT to deliver HR programs and innovation.
- Strengthen operational compliance, embedding consistent policies and employment practices.
About You:
- Proven leadership in HR Operations or Shared Services functions at scale.
- Experience with Workday HCM, embedding and optimizing system processes.
- Working knowledge of end-to-end payroll operations and statutory requirements.
- Commercial acumen and influencing skills at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Demonstrated success in leading operational teams through transformation.
- Sound understanding of UK employment law and policy governance.
