About the Team: Bestow's Finance team (Strategic Finance and Accounting) ensures the organization's financial stability and success. It manages and optimizes resources, provides analytical insights, and enables effective decision-making, sustainable growth, and maximum value creation.
What You'll Do: We seek a Director of Strategic Finance to build and lead the Strategic Finance function. You'll be instrumental in the Finance leadership team, creating and maintaining financial infrastructure to support current and future business needs. You'll work closely with executive leadership, the board of directors, and investors on high-priority issues, using quantitative insights to drive better decision-making.
- Structure, build, and maintain complex financial and decision-making models.
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
- Own key financial metric and operating target development.
- Develop an investor relations strategy framework.
- Assist with board, investor, and stakeholder presentations.
- Drive strategic cross-functional initiatives.
- Align departmental goals, processes, and resources.
- Contribute to IPO readiness.
- Develop dashboards to track performance metrics.
- Provide management with insights into revenue, expenses, risks, and opportunities.
- Architect and implement new analytics and planning systems.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team.
Who You Are:
- 8+ years of professional experience in strategic finance/FP&A at a fast-growing tech company.
- Superior financial analysis capabilities and understanding of complex models.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage various stakeholders.
- Ability to break down complex processes into actionable formats.
- Intellectually curious and a self-starter.
- Exceptional presentation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, able to present narratives supported by data.
- Collaborative style and viewed as a strong business partner.
- Experience building, leading, and mentoring teams.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, including ASC 606.
- Proficient with Excel and Google Workspace.
- Experience working at a high-growth enterprise software startup.
