Director Talent Management is responsible for overseeing talent management strategies globally, aligning with organizational goals. This includes managing talent acquisition, ensuring seamless integration with overall talent management. Crucially, the role attracts, develops, and retains top talent to meet strategic objectives. Reports to the Chief People Officer. Leads and develops a team of professionals. Collaborates with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), senior leaders, and across departments/business units focusing on talent strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Talent Management Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent (talent and succession planning).
- Oversee Talent Acquisition: Direct the talent acquisition team to ensure effective recruitment processes and strategies.
- Succession Planning: Develop and manage programs for leadership continuity with HRBPs.
- Performance Management: Oversee systems aligning with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Understand business needs and align talent strategies.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and analytics to inform decisions.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure all practices comply with laws.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in talent management and acquisition, with proven leadership.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with HR software and tools.
- Leadership experience: Ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and implement long-term talent strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data to drive decisions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bonus Points: Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Business, Psychology, or related fields. Experience with HR technology platforms (Greenhouse and UKG).
