Job Details
We are seeking a Document Controller for our High Tech & Manufacturing team.
Required Skills: Initiative, problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience implementing document control procedures, setting up and managing Common Data Environments (CDE) / Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and configure CDEs, adding/maintaining user accounts and security groups, responding to user requests.
- Interface with project teams, acting as the main point of contact.
- Provide CDE training and maintain training logs.
- Provide advanced training to super users and local administrators.
- Maintain container configuration & workflows, checking file/document links and workflows.
- Develop and maintain user guides.
- Manage system compliance, conducting weekly audits and providing reports.
- Create new project setups on CDE and assign users.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and information on system usage and compliance.
- Maintain user directories, IM protocols, and file naming protocols.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests regarding document management/CDE.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Information Management (IM) and/or Consultancy.
- Experience with a variety of projects.
- Administrator-level experience with Aconex, ViewPoint/4P, Asite, Bentley, or ProjectWise.
- User-level experience with other CDE/EDMS systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
- Well-organized, able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Strong presentation skills and training delivery skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
- Running stakeholder workshops.
- Process capture and mapping.
- Using advanced CDE/EDMS features (e.g., e-procurement).
