AECOM is seeking an Electrical Technical Program Manager.
Oversees the design of post Facility Ready (FR) electrical system upgrades and retrofits. This includes building matrixed design teams, creating a shared plan for execution, and overseeing external design teams.
Ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of mission-critical design and construction, new product development, and insertion.
Remote role, preferred NYC area.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, organizing, and leading program activities and stakeholders to deliver improvements.
- Scoping, phasing, and leading cross-functional/cross-organizational challenges, including change management.
- Ensuring alignment of senior stakeholders.
- Proactively identifying stakeholders, strategizing, planning, and prioritizing objectives/success criteria.
- Estimating task durations and ensuring aligned schedules/dependencies.
- Monitoring and communicating progress/risks, proposing mitigation plans.
- Measuring/publishing program/process metrics to drive consensus and decision-making.
- Applying best practices from other client processes/technologies.
- Identifying and implementing technical/business programs/processes in medium-to-large work groups.
- Organizing ambiguous projects into clear objectives (6+ months).
- Fostering collaboration across program teams, understanding/addressing their needs.
- Guiding alignment on timelines, goals, and deliverables.
- Managing escalations and obstacles.
- Breaking down programs/processes for partner teams.
- Designing and delivering program communication plans (executive/partner).
- Optimizing checkpoints/metrics dashboards.
- Ensuring stakeholder alignment on program pivots.
- Determining/collecting data to govern programs and drive decisions.
- Maintaining project trackers/status reports.
- Creating automated processes to enhance velocity/monitoring.
- Leading effective stakeholder meetings.
- Developing change management rollout plans (impact analysis).
- Defining/leading/owning program charters (scope, timeline, OKRs, resourcing, risks).
- Translating ambiguous goals into clear/measurable objectives/milestones.
- Creating project plans with discrete phases, risks/dependencies, and program constraints.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders for effective decision-making.
- Developing technical analysis, tools, and processes supporting engineering execution.
- Performing technical due diligence to evaluate scope, milestones, timeframe, and resourcing.
