Embolic Clinical Specialist will play a key role in clinical and commercial development of LAVA in the U.S.
Build strong working relationships across multiple internal company functions to share knowledge and expertise across various cross-functional teams.
Available locations/regions:
- Southeast (Miami or Atlanta)
- Northeast (NYC or Boston)
- Southwest (Los Angeles or San Diego)
- South Central (Dallas or Houston)
- Great Lakes (Detroit or Chicago)
- Northwest (Portland or Seattle)
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site case coverage during embolization procedures to ensure proper product usage and application.
- Assist healthcare professionals in achieving optimal patient outcomes by providing technical expertise and clinical guidance.
- Troubleshoot and address clinical issues that arise during procedures.
- Conduct training programs and in-services for physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff on product usage, clinical techniques, and best practices.
- Develop and deliver presentations, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations for new and existing customers.
- Stay updated on the latest clinical practices, product advancements, and competitive technologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for support requests.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify customer needs and opportunities for product adoption.
- Travel to customer sites to provide clinical expertise and support.
- Monitor and report on product performance and feedback.
- Support sales teams during product demonstrations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of case coverage, customer interactions, and training sessions.
Location Requirements: Must live near major airport.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field, or equivalent health services licensure.
- 2-3 years of clinical experience scrubbing as an IR tech.
- Prior clinical experience with a medical device company.
- Ability to effectively interact with a variety of healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements: Sitting, walking, standing for prolonged periods, possible exposure to radiation, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $90,000 - $95,000 annually.
- Variable bonus: $30,000 - $50,000 annually.
