Employee Relations Advisor

Works in partnership with the People collective to foster positive working relationships. Supports managers in resolving employee relations issues. Ensures consistency and fairness in applying Monzo's People Policies.

1. Provides timely advice to managers on resolving employee relations issues.
2. Logs and manages formal ER cases accurately.
3. Develops, communicates, and implements Monzo-wide People policies.
4. Analyzes People data to highlight trends and suggest improvements.
5. Designs, delivers, and facilitates ER training for managers.
6. Provides note-taking support in formal ER cases.
7. Keeps abreast of legal changes and industry trends.
8. Supports other People collective tasks, projects, and initiatives.

Experience & Skills

• Managing a high volume of complex ER cases (e.g., sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance).
• Detailed understanding of employment law and ER best practices.
• Confident conflict management and providing diverse advice.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Empathetic approach in challenging situations.
• Proficient problem-solving skills.
• (Preferred) Fintech or Financial Services experience
• (Preferred) CIPD qualification
• (Preferred) Google Suite and Slack experience

Compensation & Benefits

• £34,000 - £44,000 + share options
