As the ESG & Corporate Officer, you will lead the design, implementation, and governance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives across our global operations.
ESG Strategy & Policy Development
- Maintain the company-wide ESG policy
- Manage collection and reporting of ESG KPIs
- Support the roll out of the Group’s ESG strategy
ESG governance
- Prepare materials for ESG governance structures e.g. ESG committee / ESG working group / Board sessions
Environmental Sustainability
- Monitor the company’s annual scope 1 -3 GHG emissions
- Develop and implement the company’s decarbonization plan and deliver on Science-Based Targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement other environmental initiatives e.g. waste management.
- Manage and lead decarbonization and energy efficiency projects
Social Responsibility
- Collaborate with procurement team to manage our responsible supply chain practices
- Partner with DEI and HR teams to ensure representation across workforce and study demographics.
- Support global health equity initiatives and community outreach programs.
Governance & Compliance
- Monitor new and upcoming ESG related regulations and support with compliance activities.
- Identify ESG-related risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate ESG audits/questionnaire and support with responses to relevant third parties
Reporting & Communication
- Produce annual ESG and/or Sustainability Reports.
- Respond to ESG questionnaires from investors, partners, or customers
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on ESG impact and progress.
- Various Ad-hoc reporting on ESG status
Other Projects
- Support other non-ESG projects which may involve tasks like project management, acquisition integration, support of the Group’s insurance programs and some basic finance activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Life Sciences, Business Sustainability, or related field.
- 3+ years experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility
- Experience with sustainability reporting regulations (e.g. CSRD) and frameworks (e.g. GRI, SASB, UNGC).
- Experience in GHG emissions reporting and implementation of decarbonization plans.
- Familiarity with clinical trial regulations and standards/ pharmacovigilance practices and global PV regulations is a plus.
